Christmas was great this year! Mom and Dad woke us up on Christmas morning so we could read the Christmas story and finally put Jesus into the manger on our Advent calendar. Then we opened our stockings. The most popular stocking present was Caroline's Curious George toothbrush. Then I got to open my "train tracks." They are so much fun! Besides the train tracks, my favorite present were my "bagols" (Legos). I think I might become a builder when I grow up. Anyway, I am thankful that God sent Jesus to save us from our sins and that we were able to celebrate His birthday this week! Next week is Caroline's birthday, so the festivities are far from being over around here.

I figured out how to escape from my crib about a month ago. Since then I have been trying to adjust to this big boy bed thing. I still must be confined to the pack and play in the guest room at nap time because I talk too much and get in bed with Caroline, but Mom and Dad say I am doing very well at bedtime. It is just not easy getting big. I like being Mommy's baby!

I've been nominated for Time Magazine's Person of the Year. They have a JumboTron in Times Square in New York, and my photo was featured on it this morning at 12:08 AM.
Click here to see the photo from the Time mag webcam.
Caroline was also nominated, but I encourage the editorial committee to select me.
Update: My Father was also nominated, by a third party. Thanks Aunt Kaitlin!

"Fluffy died. He is no longer with us." This is how Caroline informed me of the demise of our dear bunny, Fluffy (a.k.a. "Puff" or "The Fluff"). So, this post is in honor of our faithful rabbit Fluffy. We enjoyed our time with her very much and will miss feeding her carrots and having her "kiss" our fingers. She was always patient with us and seemed to actually like our noisy, little people ways. She even put up with Dad taking her for walks on a leash and me chasing her. Dad used her passing to teach us about the brevity of life, God's control over it, and our need to live for the eternal instead of temporal. Before burrying her in a quiet corner of our backyard, Dad read a portion of 1 Corinthians 15, I waved and said good-bye, and Caroline wondered aloud why we were covering Fluffy with dirt. Now that Fluffy is gone, I wonder what kind of pet I might convince my father (or grandfather) to purchase... rumor has it that a dog may be in order.
