It's been a busy last few weeks! My dad finished school for the semester with a flurry of big papers, and immediatly after that we set out for Califorina. We spent 3 days in Santa Clarita visiting old friends (and going to Cheryl's wedding), then we quickly made our way north to Redding, CA, hometown of my mother and current residence of my Grandparents Nall, Aunt Gabi, Great Aunt Susan, as well as Andrew and Matthew Baxter, who are my first-cousins-once-removed. Besides the parties just mentioned, our Christmas week was enhanced by the presence of Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Cosner (down from the farm in Washington via the ole steam locomotive) as well as Aunt Abby (up from college) and her longtermconcubinalinterestwhoismuchmoreseriousthanaboyfriendbutnotquiteofficiallyfianceeforthetimebeingatleast, Nathan.
A joyous time was had by all amidst much food and many presents. Carrie loved her rubber food from Grandma and Grandpa; Emmett was very happy about the frog which Caroline gave him. The winter has devestated everyone's immune system and the family's current ailments include cough, cold, runny noses, allergies, ashma, ear infections, back spasams, and unit irritation.
However, we rejoice most of all in God's gift of his son, who came to save us from our sin; and our hope is to know him more each day until he returns.
