We had beautiful weather on Saturday, so Dad decided we needed to get in some early "spring training." We discovered I, Emmett am a lefty (at least when it comes to batting) and confirmed yet again that Caroline is a princess. I love baseball and was sad when it was time to go in and I had not yet mastered hitting the ball like a Ranger. Caroline on the other hand thought she was already a Ranger and didn't need lessons even though her batting technique consists of simply swinging the bat back and forth until she finally connects with the ball and/or she begins pretending the bat is a horse to ride around the yard. I am looking forward to more opportunities to fine tune my skills.
